LATTC Scholarship Programs

Spring 2016 Scholarships

 

Applications for Foundation-sponsored scholarships are submitted through the LATTC online scholarship application. The portal will be open from Monday, February 8 through Monday, February 29, 2016. Scholarships will be awarded on Wednesday, March 30, 2016.

 

LATTC APPLICATION

Each applicant may be awarded one scholarship. Students are matched with the scholarships for which they are eligible by the online system.

 

The Los Angeles Trade Technical College Foundation will offer the following scholarships in Spring, 2016:

 LATTC Foundation General Scholarships

$500

Full-time student (minimum 12 units) in at least second semester, unmet financial need, cumulative GPA minimum 2.5, score on short essays.

 Osher Foundation Scholarships

$500

Full-time student (minimum 12 units) in at least second semester, unmet financial need, cumulative GPA minimum 2.0, score on short essays.

 Chancellor’s Scholarship

$500

Service to LATTC community, full-time student (minimum 12 units) in at least second semester, unmet financial need, cumulative GPA minimum 2.5.

 American Gas Association

$1,000 per semester for three semesters

Completed at least one semester, GPA minimum 2.8, enrolled in HVAC or Plumbing.

 Kaiser Foundation $500

 Full-time student in nursing program, second semester in program or beyond, unmet financial need, GPA minimum 2.5.

 Trustee Emeritus Mona Field Scholarship

$500

Student preparing for a career in the “helping professions”, unmet financial need, at least 12 units, GPA minimum 3.0.

Manny Morales Memorial Scholarship: donated in memory of LATTC employee Manuel Morales.

Student has completed 12 units in Digital Media classes, unmet financial need, GPA minimum 2.8.

 A.L.E. Robinson Scholarship

$250

Student in Cosmetology, Skin Care or Barbering, full-time student (minimum 12 units) in at least second semester, unmet financial need, cumulative GPA minimum 2.0, score on short essays.

Olivia Garrison Memorial Scholarship: donated in memory of Mrs. Olivia Garrison, who helped her children achieve success by working as a seamstress.

Student in Fashion Design, full-time student (minimum 12 units) in at least second semester, unmet financial need, cumulative GPA minimum 2.5, score on short essays.
