Los Angeles Trade Trade-Technical College Foundation was established in 1983. Its appointed Board of Directors guides philanthropic work of the L.A. Trade Tech Foundation.
As a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, Los Angeles Trade Tech College Foundation carries out its mission to raise funds for scholarships and grant awards to L.A. Trade Tech College students.
In 2008, Los Angeles Trade Tech College Foundation expanded its scope of philanthropic activity to include its pursuit of supplemental funding sources for Los Angeles Trade-Technical College projects and programs.
The purpose of the Foundation is three-fold:
- To solicit and raise funds to award scholarships to students enrolled at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College.
- To solicit funds to support and encourage campus-based research and educational projects that benefit Los Angeles Trade-Technical College.
- To engage in cooperative efforts with college administrators, faculty and staff to enhance the academic and vocational programs offered at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College and direct services offered to L.A. Trade Tech College students and community members served by the college.
- Los Angeles Trade Tech College Foundation supports the dreams and aspirations of Trade Tech College students so they may achieve their education goals and become valued contributors in today’s demanding, fast-paced workplaces.
